ILNS Photowalk 2 Wall Mural Walk
Co-hosting our second I Love North Shields photo walk in collaboration with Elevation Walls was such a proud moment for me. I honestly didn’t know what to expect when we announced it, but seeing so many of you turn up absolutely blew me away. It really was incredible to see such a big turnout, to recognise friendly faces from last time and to meet so many new creatives who just love North Shields as much as we do.
There’s something so special about gathering a group of people who might not know each other yet instantly connect through photography. Watching everyone chat, share ideas, compare shots and encourage each other reminded me exactly why we started this. It’s about so much more than taking photos, it’s about building community.
I’m so grateful to Simmie for trusting us to bring this idea to life. Huge thanks as well to the incredibly talented GPO Visuals and Nostalgia Kid, two photographers I admire massively, for their support and encouragement.
And of course, thank you to the brilliant local venues who welcomed us along the route: The Loading Bay, Arbor Seven, and The Exchange 1856. Supporting independent spaces in our town means so much to me, and I’m proud that our walk could shine a light on them too.
