A Castle View and Coastal Calm
A peaceful stay at the Lord Crewe Arms offered the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and Northumbrian character. Just a short walk from the beach and resting beneath the majestic Bamburgh Castle, it’s a place where history and tranquillity meet.
The room was beautifully styled in soft greens and cosy textures, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Thoughtful touches like little jars of jelly beans and pretzels added an extra sense of warmth and welcome.
After a day by the sea, dinner was exactly what was needed, posh fish fingers and chips, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. As evening fell, I took my drink out to the beer garden, where the sunset cast a golden glow over the castle, a sight that’s hard to beat.
Both sunrise and sunset were spectacular, each painting the sky with soft light and colour. Waking up to the view of the castle through the window was especially memorable peaceful, grounding, and a beautiful start to the day.
The Lord Crewe Arms was the perfect reset. Bamburgh never disappoints.
